          What I have learned this time???

          Well, time passed by so fast. And now today is the time, the best time and the moment of truth.  I have learned in ICT about Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editing program developed and published byAdobe Systems. Learning on how to make pictures batter and beautiful is really amazing. Using the adobe photoshop, is you can also create anything what your mind want to feature or express. You can also brighten or darken your photo. You will know also how to recolor your hair. It’s so amazing. But what I like the most is using the clone stamp tool. You can make a copy or duplicate of the picture you are editing.

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

          

Do you pay attention on how fast time goes by? Time has passed by and all our dreams that we had for our future have not yet come to us. The reason is because our dreams remains as dreams only and haven't yet become goals.

          

          As for me, I have my own dreams too. I have three major dreams in life. First, I want to graduate in this school and get my diploma. So, my parents can be proud of me. Second, I want my life to be colorful and beatific. Third and lastly, I want to travel all around the world. It would be amazing to travel the whole world. I like things that make me so adventurous. 

          So, therefore we must fullfill those precious dreams during the rest of our life. :')))

Change, It Starts With Me :)))

I dislike saying "I am trying to find myself" because my identity is not lost, it just needs more uncovering. Luckily for me, what I love to do and want to be helps me uncover more about myself. I want to be a writer. I may not end up a professional writer but I will always write, even if I am the only one interested in my work, because writing is my self-reflection.

I am not worried that I don't know everything about myself. As I get older, I'll figure it out.

Kannawidan Festival :)))

Ilocos Sur especially Vigan is branded as the Heart of Ilocandia by the Philippine Historical Committee. It’s a province very rich in culture and heritage.

Kannawidan festival is an occasion to strengthen the Ilocano culture, recognize Ilocos Sur’s sons and daughters who brought honor to their province, celebrate abundant harvest or just to celebrate the Ilocano spirit that continues to drive locals to boost their home province.  Kannawidan means traditions and this province got to showcase all what she has. Last January 29 to February 3, 2014 several activities were lined up for the celebration. There was the tribal performance of the cultural communities of Ilocos Sur which is so fascinating. Partuat ken Patanor Trade Fair showcased the products of the province such as longganisa, bagnet, garlic, bibingka, tinubong and many other foods including handicrafts.  A battle of brains and beauty was witnessed during the Saniata ti Ilocos Sur pageant.

It was a fun-filled week of celebration of the Kannawidan Festival in Ilocos Sur.

New Year New Me :)))

Exciting New Year is upon us again. Like every Monday of each week, it reminds us about the endless possibilities of new beginnings. Forget about the past, let us grab the carabao by the horns and make our future better!

For me New Year is wonderful day. I spent it with my family. We cook and make many tasty things. And we usually do not sleep, we,ll just watch television  or go to relative and friend’s houses and congratulate each other with New year wishes.  When the new year comes around it seems like the perfect time for self-improvement. Even though I’ve always failed my New Year’s resolutions, every year I promise myself that this time will be different. Each time after about a month I’ve given up. Why do I even bother? I don’t feel that bad when I break my resolutions but sometimes I wish I could do better.

But this year I’m going to stop giving up. I’m going to stop disappointing myself. I’m going to push myself to live up to my own expectations, while at the same time trying to make sure those expectations aren’t unreasonable.

I've gathered so many thoughts and ideas again this time. We performed different activities and exercises. We continued discussing about HTML. It was really great because I have learned how to use the notepad using different types of html tags.

       I hope that I've done more some improvement now than the past two gradings. J J J

Climate Change

Climate change is a tangible problem and its existence can no longer be denied. It is one of the most important scientific, economic threats facing to the earth.

There are many factors lead to climate change, such as greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, fossil fuels. Even though it would be self-deception to believe that humans had nothing to do with it, the fact is that human activities caused negative effects on climate change. More people develop more natural resources, cut more trees, use more fossil fuels, produce more wastes, build more roads, dams and cities, infect more soil, water and air, and contribute more greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, which may lead to the ozone depletion and global warming.

However, all of us can play vital part of the climate change solution. As a resident, we can ensure that governments recognize the importance of global warming and follow through on their promises. 

Love, the Essence of Christmas

    Christmas is a time to renew bonds of love. It's a wonderful time when loved ones can show appreciation for each other.

          It's also a great time to use that love to build bridges of understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness. Christmas should mean taking quality time with your family and friends. It's about cherishing and celebrating the love you share.  All have problems like we do, no matter who they are or where they come from. Every day is like Christmas for us because Jesus is so good to us every day, but this time is extra special because He pours out His love in extra measure. We feel His love from loved ones, acquaintances, and even strangers. There's just something about Jesus' birthday that turns people's hearts and minds to peace and love and goodwill. 

                   Love is the Essence of Christmas!!! :D

Equal Rights; Equal Oppurtunities

   There are many kinds of discrimination among other people. Taking for instance, the discrimination towards women. This discrimination is one of the most pervasive human rights violations. It severely limits the ability of women or girls and the communities they live in.

              Gender- based discrimination is irrevocably connected to negative outcomes. We should be treated similarly. There should be no difference between the boys and the girls. We must not put down others just for ourselves. Because we are all born equal. There is no richer or poorer. There should be no gap or boundary towards others. We must respect others by what and who they are.

                 We are all equal, we have all equal rights and equal opportunities.

             

   October is the English Month Celebration. Every year that we are celebrating it and now the theme is “Going Global through English Language”.

                A language which is recognized and understood by people everywhere is very important. In many part of the world, English has been established. In most countries around the world the English language can be found in many forms like in international news. English is truly the English language. English seems to be emerging, if it has not already arrived, as a global language. If this were to become, it would lessen the number of mistranslations. It would make communications across much easier.

                English may not be the best choice, but for me it  is the best choice for an international language.

                                   Another chapter has gone again. But still it's not yet the end of all.

       I've learned so many things this time. And it's just a great feeling for mr that I can perform the said task. However, the topic that we tackled was all about the basic coding unit in the HTML system known as the tag and performing activities in the notepad using the tags that we've learned. Well, there are two kinds and pairs of tags. And I hope it will not confuse you. The two kind of tags are the stand alone tag and container tag which has a pair that needs a slash to identify that it is the end tag. While the two pairs are the start tag and end tag. We;ve also learned adout the HTML Editors abd the World Wide Web Consurtium (W3C). This are just some of our lessons. 

       I hope that I've done some improvemant now. I've tried my best bue it seems my best didn't try me. Just kiddin'. Goodbye 2nd grading :( Welcome 3rd grading :)

You Light Up My World

         




           Heroes are not like real superheroes, people who could fly, who could hold a car using their forefinger, not even fighting villains for saving the world. Then what is a hero? When talking about heroes, they’re the one who strengthen you, the one who are at your side whenever you’re down because they are there to lift you up.
          Well, a teacher for me is most likely a hero because they do lots of things just to do their works. A teacher is similar to a hero for some reasons. The quality that I like most about my teacher is that she still keeps on smiling at the end of the day even if she’s very tired. She did it just to remind us that she’s strong and she just laugh on her problems and never gives up to God’s challenges.
          My teacher is my hero because she’s not perfect but she tries to do the best for everyone and I owe her one. She’s one of the reasons why I keep holding my dreams and that I’ll keep wanting to get the excellence.

Save Mother Earth For Humanity

 Science is a systematized body of knowledge. There were many such things that we can do about it. Since, it has been exposed and it became a part of our life we are now used to it. However, sciences involve and almost cover everything that happens.

In our scenario, there were many problems that we are facing involving our environment most likely the pollution and depletion of our natural resources. The rivers, lakes, oceans and other bodies of water is now polluted. The air that we breathe can no longer be called as fresh air. This is because of the factories and vehicles that bring black and dirty smokes that are not also good to our health and can cause many different various diseases. The burning of plastics can contribute depletion of the ozone layer which is not good for us. The natural resources are now destroyed, but not almost. The trees nowadays continuous to lessen because of deforestation, kaingin and other activities and can cause landslide when such typhoon may come.

All this are problem in our environment that needs to be solve as soon as possible. Let’s take a move and do the right action for this. Let’s consume our time to some vital things. The trash in our environment can be utilized again through reuse, reduce and recycle. From this, we can avoid the deterioration in our mother earth. 

SUPERSISTER! :D

 “For every great power comes a great responsibility”, this is the most popular quote told by one of the famous superhero, Spiderman. And yes exactly and perfectly true. Well in our times now, most commonly people were blind to superheroes specially children. It is now visible in their minds about the diverse powers that they have. And this should not be situated, because a superhero is not measured by just only a power which is seen and used by the characters in fantasy movies.  But the power to have the ability to work, help and do something good.

               

                For me, I considered my sister as my superhero ever. For some thought that, even though she don’t have the so called supernatural powers she still have the aptitude to help. I am very proud of her for some reasons that she is always there to guide and support me at all times and everything that I am into. She always manage to tell vital things when I ask something to her. She is a very hilarious human on earth. I am always happy when I’m with her, it’s kind of full of laugh trips. She keeps on talking and talking nonsense things and that’s what I love the most. She is the reason why I exist in everything. She motivated me and helps me to grow up being independent. All I can say is that she completes me. Sisters are forever friends.

                    Superheroes can be in fantasy and reality. You can feel it with your heart ……

Power to Connect

          


            Every month of August, we always celebrate the " Buwan ng Wika". But is there a time that comes into your mind about the word "WIKA"? Well in my own opinion, all people have their own language. This will serve as their guide in their life. It is because our own language is our power to connect with others. Through this, all people will have unity with each other. The more they used their own language properly the more people that will understand each other. Moreover, all people in the country will develop a better connection with each other.

          However, in celebration of this Buwan ng Wika there were a lot of people who participated all the events. Taking for instance, here in our school the Filipino Club has launched many programs. Some of these are the Tagisan ng Talino and Dagliang Talumpati. There were many students who participated and it was so amazing that there were many ideas and thoughts that they can present and tell with in just two minutes. Somehow, the Filipino Club has also had a competition in winning the crown of Bb. Wika. It was very successful ant it was so great to watch all the candidates.

          Well, just bear in our minds that whatever will happen let us manage and learn how to love our own language. We should use it properly. And be proud that you are a true Filipino Citizen. 

Beneficial Learnings Through Information and Communication Technology

         

      

                       ICT means Information and Computer Technology. This year is another step again for the new beginning. I have learned many ideas and thoughts about this. And the amazing thing was that, it’s really great knowing and discovering something. Our lesson about internet timeline was very helpful to me because I have known those respective persons who are involved or who has contributions in the field of internet. Like the person who introduced the emoticons on 1979, Sir Scott Fahlman and Sir Tim Berners- Lee who develops the concept of hypertext. I have also learned about how the web server and web browsers work together, parts of a webpage, data types, types of blogs and many more.

                   However, learning those things was not that easy for me. Because there were some obstacles that I have come across. Just like about the Internet Timeline , to be specific. It was just new to me about that. So, it was not that easy for me to handle it. But as time past by, I am starting to manage it and as I more discovered something the more I start to love this subject.

          

                   Well, I hope that this second quarter will be more interesting again. So that, I can discover such vital things that will be very beneficial to me.

SONA of the President Benigno S. Aquino III

               

 Many individuals were talking about the achievements of our honorable president Benigno S. Aquino III since he became our president of the Philippines. There are many queries in their mind that they couldn't answer. And now the most awaited time has come.

               Last July 22, 2013 the State of the Nation Address or usually called SONA of our President Benigno S. Aquino III was delivered. It was his Fourth SONA happened in the Session Hall of the House of Representatives, Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City. Well, it is just simply means that he has only two SONA left. Many people has anticipated this event. And many residents of us has witnessed his speech. He stated all his achievements throughout the year.Like the renovation of high ways, bridges and other services. He also discussed about the programs that he launched related to health. His help for the house and lot and the improvement of our culture. He also tackled about education and the "Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program".These are only some of his achievements.

               

   However, although we all know that our president have done many things for the betterment of our country. We cannot still get over about this leading problem in our society. And this is poverty, there are still many people suffering. And his achievements was not still that good enough. Let us unite and raise our country.

Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama- sama nating Wakasan

                    

After a long time again, here comes the celebration of Nutrition Month. Honestly, I've been waiting this time since when I was 3rd year. I really love joining competitions specially when it comes to dancing. Even though I'm not that good, Im still fun with it.

                    

                  Well, Nutrition Month is celebrated every year in the month of July. They are launching this, in order for us to know further about our health and to motivate us to join the said competition to develop our self- confidence and other self quality. This is a very convincing progam specially to those who are not healthy. They will  learn more about those things that they need to do to stay healthy. Meanwhile, this Nutrition Month has many events like food fest, cook fest, mural, poster making and of course the nutri-jingle that I like the most.

                  

                      However, the theme for this month is " Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating Wakasan". This is related to those people who are not that healthy and who lacks in nutrition. They must take a step and move now to end this problem in our health.

            A pleasant day Sir! :) I just want to extend my very warm greetings to you. You've been a good leader to us. I really appreciate the way how you help and serve other people. It's a blessing to us that we have someone like you to rule and lead us. I really appreciate what you are doing in our country just to make it better. 

             I just want to inform you about my concern here in our school. We are so many students studying here at our respective school namely Ilocos Sur National High School. Our population is very big that we are not that comfortable in staying here. We also need some toilets to use because the number of toilets here is not enough for us. And  with all your respect sir, I am just simply requesting that if you have time can you please help us in our situation. This is for our own goods and benefits.

      

              Sir, we all know that some people ignore you. But don't you ever worry sir because we are here to support you. And it's an honor for me to have you in our lives. And I hope that you'll always continue showering your blessings, helping and serving people. Specially to those who really need help.
